Because we work on a points system, you don't have to wait till someone wants to do a direct swap with you. In fact, you don't even need to have things to swap - you can start shopping as soon as you've registered. And if you ever need points, just click on the 'Get points here' link.
Unclutter your house! - List Items for Swapping
It's free to post - so find all that stuff your kids have outgrown, take good photos (remember, the more you can see of the item, the more appealing it is to a buyer), set a points sale price (we operate on the principle of 1 point = 1 Aussie dollar), and when someone buys your item those points (and points to cover Australia Post costs) will be credited to your account.
Rating
Remember to rate buyers/sellers you transact with - it's important that there's an honour system in place.

Pricing
The prices you set for your items are entirely up to you. We recommend that you think carefuly about how much you would be prepared to pay for the item if someone else was selling it. And, of course, remember that the seller will be paying for postage costs on top of the price too.
The following is a rough guide for clothing based on what we've noticed sells:
Well Loved Items -
Generally sell well as lots (at least 2 of a similar thing), and for between 3 & 10 credits, depending on the condition of the items, the size and the number.
Gentle Signs of Use Items -
As above, but with a higher price tag - between 5 & 15 credits depending on size & condition.
Barely Used Items -
Range from between 5 & 30 credits, item dependent
Brand New Items -
The sky is the limit of course, but remember that even though the item is new, it's more likely to appeal if the cost including postage is less than the cost of purchase in a shop.
A few things to know:
- Postal costs are paid for by the buyer, in credit points allocated to the seller in addition to the item price
- If you list an item, remember to remove it if you give it away before it's sold on the site!
- Points can be transferred by you to someone else if you wish, but they're not redeemable for cash
- When someone buys something from you, you will be notified by email. Please try to send them the item as soon as possible. If the buyer does not receive their item within 4 weeks, they have the right to reverse the transaction
- Points expire 12 months after they're acquired if not used. If you don't think you'll use points you've accumulated, give them to a friend: just contact us and we'll do it for you
